The Strategic Systems Engineering Group (SSEG) provides program planning, acquisition strategies, system engineering analysis, CONOPS development, and trades/risk analyses in support of Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP). SSEG maintains a continuing relationship with Government and Industry to identify new technologies suitable for strategic systems engineering challenges.

- Test and Evaluation strategy development.
- Detailed test planning and systems performance analysis.
- Operational requirements analysis and CONOPS development.
- Mission need analysis.
- Modeling and simulation development.
Program Management and Acquisition Support:
- Program planning, contract and acquisition strategies, and metrics.
- Trades analysis and risk management assessment.
- Cost-benefit analysis.
- Program execution support.
- Program documentation.
Continuing relationship with Government and Industry to identify technologies of interest which address strategic systems engineering challenges and develop integration strategies which meet system needs.
