Peter W. Marzluff

Photo of Pete MarzluffPete Marzluff leads the Homeland Security Division, providing direct support to components of the Department of Homeland Security charged with critical infrastructure and key resource protection. The division is comprised of two groups: the Protective Security Support Group and the Critical Infrastructure Analysis Group.

Mr. Marzluff has more than 37 years of experience in various aspects of naval operations while serving in the Navy and in analytic support to the N7/N8 directorates within OPNAV as an analyst with Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA). Mr. Marzluff served for more than 30 years in the surface Navy, the latter part of his career in command and as a flag officer. He brought his experience in surface warfare (surface ship operations, personnel, combat systems, engineering and budget) to SPA in 2001.

Mr. Marzluff holds a degree in Oceanography from the U.S. Naval Academy, and a Master’s Degree in Systems Technology from the Naval Postgraduate School. He is also a graduate of the National War College and CAPSTONE, National Defense University.
